Answers to the questions we hear most often.
How much does it cost?
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $250 based on your expense volume. Fractional CFO and other services are priced based on your needs and scope. We'll have a conversation about your business and give you a clear quote upfront.
My books are behind. Can you fix them?
Yes. We do catch-up work to bring everything current and accurate. We'll assess how far behind things are and quote a project fee before starting any work.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts. We work on a month-to-month basis. You can cancel anytime if it's no longer the right fit.
How do I send you documents?
We use a secure portal for uploads. It's simple to use and we'll walk you through setup when you start.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. We work virtually with clients across New Jersey. Everything happens remotely, which keeps things efficient for both of us. If you prefer to meet, we can arrange that too.
What accounting software do you work with?
We work with QuickBooks Online. For payroll, we support QuickBooks Payroll, ADP, Gusto, and Paychex. If you're not set up yet, we can help you get started.
What do I need to do each month?
Very little. Grant us access to your bank feeds and upload any receipts we can't pull automatically. Most clients spend 15 minutes or less on this each month.
Do you handle payroll?
Yes. We run payroll every pay period, handle tax deposits, file quarterly reports, and prepare year-end W-2s. We also handle 1099 preparation for your contractors.
Do you file taxes?
We don't file taxes directly. We prepare your books and year-end financials so your accountant has clean, accurate records to work from. We also work directly with your accountant to answer any questions they have.
How quickly do you respond to questions?
Same day. You'll have direct access to Vin for financial questions, whether it's about your monthly reports, cash flow, or a loan application.
How soon can you start?
Usually within a few days of our first conversation. If your books need cleanup, we start there. If they're current, we move into monthly service right away.
