Meet Vin Daniels
I've spent more than 20 years working in finance across both government and corporate settings. My career started in public accounting, auditing municipalities and school districts. From there I moved into district finance, eventually serving as CFO and Business Administrator for a New Jersey school district. In that role I oversee a $40 million budget, manage cash flow and investments, coordinate major capital projects, and work directly with auditors on year-end reporting.
VJD Financial Solutions grew out of that experience. In 2010, I started helping a friend with their business finances. That one conversation led to referrals, and those referrals became a real practice. What I kept noticing was a pattern. Business owners who knew their trade inside and out, but didn't have the time or background to manage the financial side properly. The books would fall behind, cash flow became a guessing game, and by tax season everything turned into a scramble.
The work I do for my clients applies the same financial discipline I bring to managing public budgets. Clean monthly reconciliations. Accurate financial statements. Budgets and forecasts that help you plan instead of react. Year-end books that are ready for your accountant without a last-minute rush. And direct access to me when questions come up about loans, major purchases, or planning for the slower months.
I hold an MBA from Centenary College and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Richard Stockton College. My financial reporting work has earned Certificates of Excellence, and the audits I've overseen have consistently come back with no findings.
