How often will I hear from you?
You’ll hear from me every month at minimum. Beyond that, you can reach out any time you have a question.
The monthly touchpoint includes your full financial reports with a profit and loss statement and balance sheet. But you’re not just getting numbers dropped in your inbox. You also get a synopsis that explains what the numbers mean, compares them to prior periods, highlights trends worth paying attention to, and offers projections for what’s ahead. This is a conversation about your business, not a data dump.
We also have an annual budget discussion where we plan the year together. At year-end, I prepare everything your accountant needs so tax season runs smoothly on your end.
What makes working with New Jersey bookkeepers like VJD different is the ongoing access between scheduled touchpoints. If you have a question about cash flow on a Tuesday afternoon, send a text or email. If you’re considering a loan and want to talk through the numbers, call. If an invoice comes in that throws off your budget, reach out. You don’t have to wait for next month’s report or wonder if your question is important enough to ask.
My response time is fast. I don’t let questions sit for days. When you’re making a business decision that involves finances, you should be able to get an answer quickly.
Some business owners prefer minimal contact and just want to know things are handled. Others want more frequent check-ins. I adapt to what works for you. The monthly reports and open access are the baseline. If you want a standing call every two weeks or prefer everything in writing, we can set it up that way.
